![]() Over a year ago used Carbon Copy Cloner to clone HS onto another volume of the internal SSD (AFPS) then using Apple downloaded Mojave installer, upgraded. I downloaded High Sierra from Apple using an Imac running Lion. Thank you UtterDisbelief for your interest. Ps I do not sync with any other calendar. So I am wondering whether it is something to do with a kext file or a setting in EFI/Clover/ist that needs amending. I have recreated Mojave from scratch (build 18G103) on a separate bootable hard drive but it doesn’t solve the problem. I have tried every one of the options of SMBIOS in both High Sierra and Mojave to no avail. ![]() When I ran High Sierra, before upgrading, I put SMBIOS as Imac 14,2 but with Mojave had to put SMBIOS as MacPro6,1 to make Preview open jpeg files. Calendar though will not respond and needs to be Force Quit. When I boot into High Sierra it behaves slightly differently with CPU going to 90% and when I stop typing or press Return the Activity Monitor shows Calendar using perhaps 1% of CPU. Then I randomly hold down keys so entering a very long title and watch the CPU usage go up. I create an event and before entering the event title I make it All Day, Repeat Daily, Forever. I have now discovered a way to force it to misbehave, which has allowed me to try and test things more easily. This error has been running for over a year and I have pages of notes on things I have tried. Eventually shows “calendar not responding” in Activity Monitor and only way out is to Force Quit. When I enter a new event, Calendar.app sometimes uses as much CPU as it can, reaching 90%. ![]() My current MacOS is Mojave and it is up to date. Building a CustoMac Hackintosh: Buyer's Guide
